How Much Do You Need to Save for Retirement and a 7 Times Salary Mortgage

A recent study from Royal London has looked at how much you need to save in order to achieve a comfortable retirement. I think this is an important issue to look at, but I also think that the assumptions used in this particular study are pretty rubbish. I explain exactly why and what you should be thinking about when it comes to your retirement, regardless of whether you're 22 or 40.

I also talk about the new 7 times salary mortgage from Habito. On the face of it, this might look like the answer to the ever growing challenge for first home buyers, but I explain why that's not exactly the case. I also talk through some of the key concepts to think about when it comes to mortgages in general.
